Do you ever wonder if your prayers please God?
Like a teacher waiting on a student,
To ask the right questions,
To think beyond reason,
And while we are on this subject,
What hard questions are you asking,
Because He will definitely answer it,
You just need to keenly listen
Like a parent and his growing kid,
Yes we are all growing in our faith,
So many things we never see all the way,
But we should never be afraid,
He knows it won’t always make sense,
And that’s part of why we should pray,
Instead of running to the wrong place,
Let us seek His face,
He is happy to stay,
Night and day,
He will answer our toughest queries
The prayers that please our God and Friend,
Are prayers made in Faith,
Aligning with His word,
Prayers that want His way,
Not wanting to remain the same,
Asking for His will above anything,
His Glory to be witnessed,
Not looking at our circumstances,
Focusing on Jesus instead…
This will always put a smile on His Face.
Give me what will make me more at peace,
Healthy and at ease
Give me what you have already seen come to pass,
Your perfect Will is pleasant
Help me do what is possible,
And then leave you to do the impossible.
