Give meaning to how I am, where I am, blessings that I have and will have
Tell me what attitude to wear, Show me when the enemy is near
I need wisdom in this, balance if I should reveal too much
Fight those schemes, Help me set an example to those whose faith is weak
May I not be found being a stumbling block,
Where I should use words, help me say it,
Where I should show by actions, Help me do it,
Where I should meditate and pray, Help me intercede,
Help me confess sins I commit and omit,
Help me be still and listen to your voice,
Help me wait and let you work it out for my good ,
Lessons learnt in all these are precious food…
Replace the fears inside me with courage, Weakness with strength
Doubt with faith, Despair with strength
Insecurities with confidence, Complaining with gratitude
Asking with thanks-giving…
And while I search for meaning, for love, for career growth,
May you give me your light Jesus. Shine your light to every dark area of my life whether it is known to me or not, every confusing area, every area that is hard to penetrate, where there is baggage, where there are altars, where there are lies, where there are traps,
Shine your light, swallow up these darkness and give me enough light to see and know which step to make Lord…
Point them out Jesus. Show me where there will be peace, where there will be purpose, where you need me to be. Where you have always wanted me to be. I am tired of sitting in the dark. I am getting scared remaining here a minute longer.
Your light will help me see clearly, I want your light, you are the light of my world Jesus…Shine it!!may it get easier and clearer as I use your light in Jesus name Amen!
