Think about him, Someone who is always available to hear about your fears, who helps you unpack the drama at hand anytime, anywhere
Someone who listens without judgment, without interrupting, who keeps your dirty lil secrets
Think about him, Someone who you call up at any hour and they give you their full attention, Someone whose day you can interrupt and vent your heart out till you feel better
Someone who sees your not so pretty crying face, hugs you and wipes your nose and tears away without feeling icky
Think about him, whose advice is solid, Someone who wants to see you excel, who connects you to the best people and the right places
Someone who feels your pain when you hurt
Even when they warned you about it, never telling you I told you so, never making you feel worse
Someone who never gets tired of you. Knows your flaws but still calls you big shot. Knows your messes yet they clean you right up so you smell better than roses
Someone who lets you talk and talk about yourself, on and on about the same old charades
Am talking about our one sided relationship with our Savior
He wants you to listen to Him too and not just when its about you
He wants to sail two ships with you, a friend-ship, a relation-ship
He wants you to know His goals, His likes and dislikes,
He wants you to know His personality, what makes Him glad, what makes Him sad
A fruitful relationship is about two people not just one
Knowing about each others dos and don’ts is not that hard,
Simply opening up and listening to one another talk,
So go on and audit your prayer life,
Check the minutes and see who is always on the agenda
Look at the matters arising, is God’s view ever welcomed
See the things we tell God whenever we pray reveal just how much He means to us ,so let us allow Him to speak, in Jesus name
